Help us tell your Eucharist experienceSend Your Stories ToJanet Shelton ST. PETERSBURG | The goal of Bishop Robert N. Lynch’s Living Eucharist: Gathered, Nourished, Sent initiative is to help people experience the life–changing, world–enriching benefits of Eucharist. Here at the Florida Catholic, we know many Catholics already live what the bishop is inviting us to do. They draw love, strength and direction from the Eucharist, and they embrace the opportunity to receive holy Communion. The Eucharist defines and guides every aspect of their lives. We want to hear these stories and we’re hoping you’ll share them with us. We hope to hear from priests, religious men and women, and all those thousands of everyday Catholics who know the richness in receiving Christ. We want to hear about what the Eucharist means to the homebound, to those ministering to others, to people who use it to get through weakness and pain, to parents who hold fast to it amid the tougher times of raising a family. We want to share your stories about how you share in the Eucharist with all of our readers because that helps us all. Of course, we cannot do that without you. Please send your thoughts, in 300-500 words, on how you use the Eucharist in your life. We will read all of them, publish some of them and be grateful to all of you.
